Terms of Use and Business Terms
Last updated: 12 September 2026
These terms apply to the use of this website and set out the general basis on which CADRIVA services are offered to businesses.
CADRIVA services are provided by SIA Asteres, registration number 44103137920, Gaismas iela 19 k-10 - 15, Ķekava, Ķekavas nov., LV-2123, Latvia. Contact: kkrumkalna@gmail.com.
1. Business clients only
This website and the services described on it are directed at companies, organisations and other professionals acting in the course of their business. They are not offered to consumers, and nothing on this website should be read as a consumer offer.
2. The website is informational
The content of this website describes our approach and the kinds of work we do. It is general information, not advice for a specific situation, and it does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance. You should not act on the content of this website without obtaining advice appropriate to your own circumstances.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date at any given moment.
3. How an engagement is formed
Sending an enquiry, booking a conversation or receiving information from us does not create a contract. An engagement begins only when the scope of work is agreed between us and the client in a proposal, an order or a written agreement.
Where a specific proposal, order or signed agreement covers a matter, that document prevails over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
4. Scope, fees, timing and payment
The scope of work, the deliverables, the fees, the timing and any assumptions are those set out in the agreed proposal or contract for the engagement in question. This website does not state prices.
Services are invoiced and paid by bank transfer. Payment terms, the invoicing schedule and the treatment of any applicable taxes are those stated in the agreed proposal, contract or invoice.
Work outside the agreed scope is dealt with by agreement between the parties before it is carried out.
5. Client responsibilities
Our work depends on the information and access the client provides. The client agrees to:
- Provide information that is accurate and complete as far as the client is aware, and update it if it changes materially during the engagement.
- Give reasonable and timely access to the people, documents and systems needed for the agreed work.
- Nominate a contact person able to give decisions and feedback within the agreed timeframes.
- Ensure that the person instructing us is authorised to do so on behalf of the client, and that the client is entitled to share with us the information and materials it provides.
6. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential the non-public information it receives from the other party in connection with an engagement, use it only for the purposes of that engagement, and protect it with reasonable care.
These obligations do not apply to information that is or becomes public without a breach of the obligation, was already lawfully known to the receiving party, is independently developed without use of the disclosed information, is lawfully received from a third party without restriction, or must be disclosed by law or by a competent authority. Where disclosure is legally required, the disclosing party will, where lawful and practicable, inform the other party first.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, layout, design and the CADRIVA name, belongs to SIA Asteres or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission, other than normal viewing, quotation with attribution and internal reference use.
In an engagement, each party keeps ownership of the methods, templates, tools, know-how and materials it held before the engagement or developed independently of it. Rights in the deliverables prepared for the client are as set out in the agreed proposal or contract. Where deliverables incorporate our pre-existing materials, the client receives the right to use those materials as part of the deliverables for its own internal business purposes, unless the agreement says otherwise.
8. No guarantees of outcome
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. Business outcomes depend on decisions, resources and circumstances that lie with the client and on factors outside our control, so we do not guarantee specific results, savings, revenue effects, audit outcomes or certification of any kind.
Nothing on this website or in our materials should be read as a certification, accreditation or formal assurance opinion, and we do not present ourselves as providing legal advice.
9. Liability
Each party is liable in accordance with applicable law and with the terms of the agreement governing the engagement. Any limitation or allocation of liability that applies to an engagement is the one set out in the agreed proposal or contract; these website terms do not introduce a separate cap.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for damage to life or health.
In relation to the website itself, we are not responsible for decisions taken solely on the basis of general website content without advice specific to your situation.
10. Third-party links and services
This website may link to third-party websites or reference third-party services. Those sites and services are outside our control, we do not endorse their content by linking to them, and their own terms and privacy practices apply to your use of them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page and apply going forward. They do not retroactively alter a proposal, order or contract already agreed between us and a client.
12. Termination
An engagement may be terminated in accordance with the agreement governing it or as permitted by applicable law. On termination, fees and expenses properly incurred up to the effective date remain payable, and the provisions on confidentiality, intellectual property and liability continue to apply to the extent relevant.
We may restrict or withdraw access to this website, or to parts of it, where necessary for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any engagement are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Latvia, unless the agreement between the parties provides otherwise or mandatory law requires a different forum.
14. Personal data
The handling of personal data connected with this website and with enquiries is described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Contact
